Climb Credit funds the student, but your ads only saw an Apply click
Your ads fill the inquiry list for a CDL class or bootcamp cohort, a prospective student clicks Apply, and the financing decision happens on climbcredit.com where none of your tags can follow. Google and Meta never learn which ad produced a student who got funded and showed up. We store the ad click on your own admissions record before the handoff, then send verified, funded enrollments back from your records, so your campaigns learn from students who start class.

Climb Credit · what breaks
What goes wrong when Climb Credit funds your students
- 01
"Our ads get inquiries, but I can't tell which ones turned into funded students"
The application, the soft credit check and the decision all happen on Climb's site. Your pixel sees a button click and nothing after it, so you can't say which campaign filled a CDL cohort or a bootcamp start date.
- 02
"Google keeps optimizing for people who never start class"
If the conversion fires on the Apply click or on an approval, Google and Meta learn to find people who browse financing, get declined, or get approved and then cancel before attending. You pay for more of exactly those people.
- 03
"Every financed student shows up at the same value"
A Climb Loan sends the school program funding upfront, while an Interest-Free Recurring Payment plan collects weekly payments over the course and stops when you stop billing. Report them as one number and your return on ad spend is fiction.
- 04
"By the time they enroll, nobody knows where they came from"
Admissions calls, tours and paperwork stretch the gap between first click and enrollment verification. If the click ID never reached the admissions record, there's nothing to match when Climb funds the student.
Climb Credit · the fix
What changes after we fix it — Climb Credit
Campaigns bid on students who actually start
Google Ads and Meta receive one conversion per student whose enrollment you verified and Climb funded, sent from your roster through a first-party server container.
Real tuition value by financing type
Upfront Climb Loan funding and recurring-payment plans carry different values, so budget moves toward programs and ads that bring paid seats.
Cancellations stop inflating results
Students who cancel before class are held back or retracted in Google Ads, and the Meta event waits until enrollment is verified.
Climb Credit · architecture
What Climb Credit actually lets you hook into
Climb's own pages describe a hosted application, an integration API and a school portal. Nothing it documents sends conversions to an ad platform.
- 1
Hosted application on climbcredit.com
Students click Apply now and search for your school, or use a direct link you share. Climb describes it as a 5-minute application with instant results for most applicants.
- 2
Application integration API
Climb documents an API that takes the applicant's details from your enrollment application and returns a prefilled Climb application URL, added with a short JavaScript function and tested against a demo school.
- 3
Approval status reporting
The integration includes reporting that brings loan approval status into school systems. We confirm whether it pushes or you pull, and which fields come back.
- 4
School Portal
Where your team monitors your school's Climb activity. We check what it exports so funding can be joined to inquiries.
- 5
No ad platform connection
Climb documents no Google tag, GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel or Conversions API setup, so the conversion has to come from your side.
Climb Credit · diagnose
Where Climb Credit tracking breaks, in the order we check
Most schools lose the student at the handoff to Climb's site, so we start there and work forward to funding.
- 01
Click Apply from an ad-tagged URL
Does the click ID land on your admissions record before the student leaves for climbcredit.com?
- 02
Find what counts as a conversion today
An Apply click or a thank-you page view usually means you're optimizing for interest, not enrollment.
- 03
Follow approval status back to your records
Can a Climb approval be matched to the original inquiry by email or applicant ID?
- 04
Compare funded students with reported conversions
Student by student, for one start date that's fully closed.
- 05
Check values and reversals
Climb Loan versus recurring-payment value, plus how pre-start cancellations and withdrawals are handled.

The QA evidence — Climb Credit
Run on a real applicant path through your live site and Climb's application, not a staff click-through of the admin screens.
Source of truth
Climb funding records (School Portal or approval status reporting) matched to your enrollment roster: students verified and funded by program and start date, with financing type
- One inquiry from an ad-tagged URL, with the click ID confirmed on the admissions record.
- One Google Ads and one Meta conversion per funded student, sharing an event ID.
- Climb Loan and recurring-payment students arriving with different values.
- A pre-start cancellation retracted in Google Ads and never sent to Meta.
- A full start date matched student by student, then rechecked 30 days later.

Climb Credit · when not to buy
When you don't need this for Climb Credit
Some schools that offer Climb don't have a Climb tracking problem at all.
- If most students at your trade school or massage program arrive through employer sponsorship, workforce grants or referrals and you barely run ads, this won't move anything.
- If Climb funds only a few students per cohort, we track enrollment from your roster regardless of how students pay and skip anything Climb-specific.
- If your admissions CRM already stores the click ID and uploads enrolled students to Google Ads, adding financing type as a value is a small job you can do in-house.
- If nobody can export a list of funded students by start date yet, sort that out with Climb first, because there's nothing to match against.

FAQ
Climb Credit questions, answered
Climb doesn't document any way to, and the application runs on climbcredit.com, not your site. The fix is to capture the click on your side before the handoff and send the result from your enrollment records.
Not as the main one. An approved student can still cancel before class, and Climb cancels the loan when that happens. Use the funded, enrollment-verified student as the primary conversion and keep approvals as a secondary signal.
Indirectly, yes. It prefills Climb's application from your own enrollment form, so the student exists in your records before leaving your site, and that record is where the click ID gets stored.
Separately from Climb Loan students. Recurring payments arrive weekly and stop when billing stops, so we value them on what you expect to collect, which you set with us.
Google Ads accepts retractions and restatements on imported conversions for up to 54 days, so we correct it there. Meta has no matching retraction for an event already sent, which is why the Meta conversion waits for enrollment verification.
