PatientFi shows who financed the procedure. Google and Meta still don't know.
Someone taps your ad, requests an implant or body-contouring consult, then applies for PatientFi on PatientFi's own site. Days or weeks later your coordinator sends a transaction request, the patient accepts it in their Account Portal and the funds land with your practice. Your website sees none of it, so Google and Meta keep rewarding the cheapest form fill. We link each accepted PatientFi transaction back to the ad that brought that patient in.

PatientFi · what breaks
Where PatientFi leaves your ad data blind
- 01
"We see approvals in the portal but can't tie them to a campaign"
Patients apply after finding your practice in PatientFi's provider search, and you learn about the approval through PatientFi's portal. No ad click ID survives that route, so nobody can say whether Google, Meta or word of mouth produced the people who financed.
- 02
"Our conversion values make no sense"
PatientFi offers the most an applicant qualifies for, anywhere from $200 to $60,000, no matter what they asked for. Report that limit as value and a laser hair removal patient can look like a full facelift, so bidding chases revenue that was never booked.
- 03
"Lots of approvals, far fewer procedures"
A spending limit isn't a loan. It expires unused after 120 days and can't be extended. Count approvals as conversions and Smart Bidding and Meta learn to find people who like checking their limit, not patients who schedule surgery.
- 04
"The person who applied isn't our patient"
PatientFi reviews one credit profile per application, so a spouse or parent can apply and name the patient as an authorized patient. Upload the applicant's email and Meta matches someone who never saw your ad.
PatientFi · the fix
What changes — PatientFi
Financed procedures credited to the right ad
Every accepted PatientFi transaction is joined to the click ID captured with the original lead, imported into Google Ads as an offline conversion and posted to Meta's Conversions API.
Bids tuned to the treatment, not the approval
Value comes from the transaction amount your coordinator requested plus any down payment paid to you directly, so a dental implant case and a single vein session stop looking alike.
Cancellations reversed, credit data kept in-house
When your office cancels a transaction and returns the funds to PatientFi, we retract the Google Ads conversion (Google allows that for 54 days) and log the cancellation for Meta, which has no retraction. Credit decisions, spending limits and procedure names never leave the practice.
PatientFi · architecture
What PatientFi actually lets you hook into
PatientFi's public help center speaks to patients: the online application, spending limits and transaction requests. It documents no ad platform connection, analytics tag, API, webhook or Zapier app. Practice-side features PatientFi doesn't publish appear below as checks, not facts.
- 1
Online application on PatientFi's site
Patients can't apply by phone. They find your practice in PatientFi's provider search, apply online, get a soft TransUnion inquiry and an instant decision. Your site's tags never see any of it.
- 2
A direct application link (to confirm)
If your provider portal hands you a practice-specific link for your financing page, your tags can record the click to it. Beyond that point PatientFi's site takes over.
- 3
Transaction requests from your portal
Your office requests a transaction for the treatment cost, the patient gets a text or email, picks a promotional or fixed-rate plan and accepts. Acceptance pays your practice, and it's the record we report.
- 4
Cancellations
A financed loan stops only when your office cancels it and returns the funding to PatientFi. That event is our retraction trigger.
- 5
Reports and practice software (to confirm)
We check what transaction export your portal gives and whether your practice software logs PatientFi payments against the patient. No server-side or ad-platform connection is documented.
PatientFi · diagnose
Where PatientFi tracking fails, step by step
We begin with the consult request, because a click ID missing from the patient record at that point can't be recovered once PatientFi is involved.
- 01
Submit a lead from a URL carrying a test gclid
Then look for that value on the patient record in your practice software or CRM.
- 02
Read the primary conversion in Google Ads
A financing-page visit or an approval means bids follow curiosity, not procedures.
- 03
Look for spending limits used as value
Every Google Ads conversion action and every Meta custom event gets checked.
- 04
Confirm whose contact details reach Meta
They belong to the lead from the first form or call, not to the applicant.
- 05
Compare accepted and cancelled transactions with each platform
Over a finished month, patient by patient.
PatientFi · prove
How we prove it works — PatientFi
We use a genuine consult request from an ad link on your live site, carried through to a PatientFi transaction your office requests and the patient accepts.
Source of truth
Your PatientFi transaction records (accepted and cancelled, with dates and amounts), linked to the patient record carrying the original click ID
- The test lead's gclid and fbclid stored on its patient record.
- The approval arriving as a secondary event, valued at zero.
- The accepted transaction imported to Google Ads at the treatment price.
- That transaction counted once in Meta, browser and server sharing an event ID.
- A cancelled transaction retracted in Google Ads and logged as a cancellation for Meta.
- The same checks repeated a month on, and whenever the consult form or financing page changes.

PatientFi · when not to buy
When PatientFi tracking isn't worth paying for
Plenty of practices that offer PatientFi can skip this.
- If PatientFi mostly helps current patients add a second treatment, the booked consult is a better ad conversion and financing can stay out of it.
- If paid search and social aren't part of your marketing, PatientFi's portal already tells you who was approved and who accepted.
- If patients usually accept their transaction more than 90 days after the first click, Google won't take that click ID anymore. The attended consult becomes your conversion and the job gets smaller.
- If the whole problem is an approval marked primary in Google Ads, demote it to secondary yourself. It's a two-minute settings change, not a project.
PatientFi · what we deliver
Our PatientFi event map
Ad lead captured
Consult request, phone call or online booking, carrying the click ID and campaign tags into your patient record.
Consult attended
Read from your appointment book, so patients who never show are dropped before financing is discussed.
PatientFi approval logged
A secondary signal with no value attached, dated so the 120-day expiry shows up in reporting.
Transaction request sent
Tracked internally so your coordinator can chase requests the patient hasn't opened. Not sent to ad platforms.
Transaction accepted
The primary conversion, valued at the treatment price and sent once. A second treatment is a separate PatientFi transaction and gets its own event.
Excluded or reversed
Declined applications, limits that expire unused, requests the patient rejects, and loans your office cancels.
Written guarantee
95%+ tracking accuracy
Measured against Your PatientFi transaction records (accepted and cancelled, with dates and amounts), linked to the patient record carrying the original click ID. Miss it and we keep working at no cost.

FAQ
PatientFi questions, answered
Not according to its public help center, which covers applying, spending limits and the transaction requests your office sends. Financed procedures have to be reported from your practice's records.
No. The spending limit is the most the applicant qualifies for, not the price of the procedure, and it lapses unused after 120 days. Count the accepted transaction instead.
Only within 90 days of the click, Google's limit for click-ID imports. Meta refuses Conversions API events dated more than seven days back, which is why accepted transactions go out daily.
PatientFi reviews one credit profile and lets the applicant name an authorized patient, so the applicant and your lead can be different people. We match on the lead's click ID and contact details from the first form or call, not the applicant's.
No. Each event carries a click ID or hashed email and phone, a timestamp and the transaction amount. Procedure names, spending limits and credit decisions stay in your practice.
Barely. A dental implant center, a med spa and a hair restoration clinic run the same PatientFi loop; the consult step and the gap between approval and acceptance are what differ.
