WordPressFor WordPress sites running paid ads

Get your WordPress tracking to 95%+ accuracy guaranteed in writing.

Plugin sprawl. Page-builder code injection. Caching plugins that strip pixels. Your WordPress site is fighting itself on every page load — and your ad ROAS is the bystander getting hit. Most sites we audit are losing reported conversions to silent tracking failures. We rebuild WordPress tracking server-side so Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn finally see what your bank account already does.

WordPress · what breaks

Why your WordPress conversion data is unreliable

  1. 01

    Plugin chaos kills events

Most WordPress sites have 4–6 tracking plugins fighting each other. Pixels double-fire, dataLayers conflict, dedup breaks. Meta Ads Manager shows a ROAS that doesn't match your bookkeeper's number — and never has.

  2. 02

    Caching plugins strip pixels

WP Rocket, LiteSpeed, W3 Total Cache — every aggressive caching plugin we audit has stripped at least one critical pixel call. iOS users + cached HTML = pixel that never fires + conversion that never gets credit.

  3. 03

    Page builders inject ghost scripts

Elementor, Divi, Bricks all let you paste in 'tracking snippets' — and most of them are wrong. We've seen Meta Pixels firing 3× per page from three different builder widgets. Your reported conversions are inflated noise.

  4. 04

Form plugins (Gravity, Contact Form 7, Fluent) miss conversions

Default integrations don't pass form submissions to Meta CAPI or Google Enhanced Conversions. Lead-gen sites lose iOS leads entirely. Your CPL inflates while your sales team burns hours on garbage.

WordPress · the fix

What changes after we fix your WordPress tracking

  • The conversions your browser tags never sent

Real, audited lift in Meta and Google attributed conversions — measured 14 days pre vs 14 days post launch.

  • ROAS you can actually trust

No more 4× ROAS that doesn't match Stripe. Numbers stop drifting because every event is server-fired and deterministically deduped.

  • Plugin chaos cleaned up

Conflicting trackers retired. One canonical dataLayer. One source of truth. Your in-house team can extend it without breaking anything.

  • Compliant by default

WP Consent API + Google Consent Mode v2 wired in so you stay legal in EU/UK/CA without losing modeled conversions.

WordPress · architecture

How a WordPress order should reach the ad platforms

A WordPress site without a store converts through forms, calls and bookings — which means the conversion happens in a plugin, and every plugin does it differently.

  1. 1

Click identifiers captured at first touch

Click IDs are captured at landing and written to a first-party cookie, then injected into hidden fields on every form so they persist into the CRM record rather than dying with the session.

  2. 2

The browser sends the fast, fragile copy

Form plugins each expose their own success event — Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms and Elementor Forms all differ. Listening to the right one, rather than a generic submit listener, is most of the job.

  3. 3

The order itself is the source of truth

The record created in your CRM or form handler is the truth. A thank-you page is a rendering step and is routinely reachable directly, refreshed, or skipped.

  4. 4

A server container sends the authoritative event

A webhook from the form plugin or CRM posts to a GTM server container on your own subdomain, keyed on a submission ID.

  5. 5

    Customer identity raises match quality

The submitted email and phone are hashed server-side and sent with the conversion, which is where Enhanced Conversions and CAPI match quality come from on a lead site.

WordPress · events

The event set we build on WordPress, and where each one comes from

The important decision on a WordPress lead site is what counts as the conversion: the form fill, or the qualified lead it becomes days later.

WordPress · normal or broken

WordPress lead-tracking faults

Plugins cause nearly all of this, and the same three faults account for most of it.

Normal, not a fault

  • Different form plugins needing different triggers

There is no universal form event in WordPress. Each plugin exposes its own, and that is normal.

  • Caching plugins delaying script execution

Expected behavior, though it needs accounting for in trigger timing.

  • Ad platforms report more conversions than you have orders

Meta credits a 7-day click and 1-day view; Google credits on click date. Two platforms can each claim the same sale. Compare each one to your order records separately and never add them together.

  • Recent days always look worse than they finish

Conversions are credited back to the date of the click, so yesterday's return on ad spend is understated and will keep improving for several days. This is attribution working, not data arriving late.

Actually broken

  • A generic submit listener counting failed validations

Every rejected submission reported as a lead. Bidding then optimizes toward people who cannot fill a form out.

  • Thank-you pages directly reachable and counted

Anyone landing there from search is a conversion.

  • Two tracking plugins plus a manual snippet all firing

WordPress makes accumulating tracking code unusually easy, and nothing warns you.

  • Click IDs never reaching the CRM

Then no closed deal can ever be traced back to a campaign, however good the rest of the setup is.

WordPress · prove

How we prove the WordPress build is correct

The tag firing proves the tag fires. These prove the numbers are right.

Source of truth

Your CRM or form-handler records, or WooCommerce orders where a store exists

  • The lead event confirmed firing only on the plugin's own success event, tested with an invalid submission.
  • Thank-you pages confirmed not independently reachable, or the conversion moved off them.
  • Click IDs confirmed present on CRM records created from paid traffic.
  • Every active tracking plugin and snippet inventoried, so exactly one path remains per event.
  • Purchase count within a few percent of your crm or form-handler records, or woocommerce orders where a store exists for a fully closed week, matched on order ID rather than on totals.
  • No order ID appearing twice in any platform's event log.
  • Deduplication confirmed at every destination that supports it.
  • Test and staff orders excluded, with the exclusion confirmed active rather than merely configured.
  • The same reconciliation repeated 30 days later, because a setup that works once and then drifts is the harder failure to catch.

WordPress · when not to buy

When a WordPress rebuild is not what you need

We would rather say this now than three weeks into an engagement.

  • Your site is informational with no conversion action at all.
  • You get a handful of leads a month and read every one by hand.
  • Your form tracking already fires on success and your leads close in the same session.
