Kickserv conversion tracking for ads that fill the inbox but not the schedule
You're paying for clicks, booking requests land in your Kickserv inbox, and Google Ads or Meta has no idea which of them became paid jobs. Kickserv's integrations page lists QuickBooks, Stripe, Podium and Mailchimp, but nothing for Google Ads, GA4 or the Meta Pixel. We store the ad click on the Kickserv customer or job and send won and paid jobs back from your own records, so your campaigns learn from real work instead of form fills.

Kickserv · what breaks
What goes wrong when Kickserv runs the office
- 01
"Google says leads, my Kickserv inbox says otherwise"
Kickserv's contact form drops booking requests into its own inbox, and whether your site's tags ever see that submit depends on how the form loads. When they don't, campaigns optimize on page visits or button taps, and you pay for clicks that never asked for a quote.
- 02
"I can't tell which ads turned into won estimates"
An air duct cleaning request becomes an opportunity, then an estimate, then a won job inside Kickserv's pipeline. None of that reaches Google Ads, so bidding can't tell a signed whole-house job from a price shopper.
- 03
"Repeat customers look like new leads"
Existing customers can request service through Kickserv's customer portal, and Kickserv suggests embedding the request tool on Yelp and other listings too. Mix those into ad conversions and your cost per new customer looks better than it really is.
- 04
"Nothing in Kickserv pushes results back to the ads"
There's no documented webhook or ad-platform connector, so a paid invoice in Kickserv never becomes a conversion on its own. Without a bridge, Meta and Google keep guessing which audiences actually hire you.
Kickserv · the fix
What changes after we fix it — Kickserv
Every booking request carries its click
The Google or Meta click ID is captured on your site and stored in a Kickserv custom field on the customer or job, so every won job can be traced to the ad, keyword or audience that produced it.
Campaigns bid on jobs you won and got paid for
Won estimates and paid jobs go back to Google Ads and Meta with the job total, so budget moves toward the searches that bring chimney repairs and reglazing work, not just form fills.
New customers counted apart from everyone else
Customer-portal requests, recurring visits and listing-site requests are tagged and excluded, leaving a clean cost per new paying customer.
Kickserv · architecture
What Kickserv actually lets you hook into
All of this comes from Kickserv's own pages and API docs. Where they're silent, we test on your account.
- 1
Contact form link
Found in the Customer Center & Contact Form settings. It creates booking requests in your inbox, with an option to create an unscheduled opportunity instead. How it's embedded isn't documented, so we confirm where it loads.
- 2
Online requests and bookable services
Customers can request appointments around the clock, and the form can sit on Yelp and other listings, which is why source tagging matters.
- 3
No ad or analytics connector
The integrations page lists QuickBooks, Stripe, Customer Lobby, Podium, Mailchimp and Google contacts and calendar. Google Ads, GA4, GTM and Meta aren't on it.
- 4
Open API on premium plans
XML over HTTP with an employee API token. Customers and jobs accept custom fields, customers carry a source, and jobs can be pulled by status, including complete and canceled. The docs list customers, jobs, notes, tasks, time entries and employees, not inbox requests, and no webhooks, so we poll.
- 5
QuickBooks and Stripe for payments
Invoices and payments sync both ways with QuickBooks, and Stripe handles pay-by-text or email. We check which system records the payment before trusting the paid date.
Kickserv · diagnose
Where Kickserv tracking breaks, in the order we check
With no ad connector in Kickserv, the usual fault isn't double counting. It's ads counting a page view or button tap because nothing better ever reaches them.
- 01
What your ads currently call a conversion
A thank-you page, a button tap or a page view, and whether a matching booking request actually sits in your Kickserv inbox.
- 02
Where the Kickserv form actually loads
Your page or a Kickserv-hosted link, and whether your tags can see the submission at all.
- 03
Whether the click ID reaches the opportunity
Checked on a test request from an ad-tagged URL.
- 04
How customer source is filled in
Blank sources make ad, Yelp and referral requests indistinguishable.
- 05
Where payments get recorded
Kickserv, QuickBooks or Stripe, since the paid date drives the money event.
- 06
Whether your plan includes API access
Without it, the server-side half isn't possible and we say so up front.

Run on a real request through your live site and your real Kickserv account, not a demo workspace.
Source of truth
Kickserv opportunities and jobs: booking requests, won estimates and paid invoices by date, with job total, customer source and the stored click ID
- A test request from an ad-tagged URL, with the click ID visible on the Kickserv record.
- One lead conversion per request in Google Ads and Meta Events Manager, with a shared event ID.
- A won estimate and a paid job each arriving once, with the job total as value.
- A canceled job confirmed absent from conversions.
- A portal request from an existing customer confirmed excluded.
- Paid jobs matched record by record against ad conversions over a closed window, then rechecked 30 days later.

Kickserv · when not to buy
When you don't need this on Kickserv
Plenty of Kickserv shops don't need us, and we'll say so on the call.
- If your handyman or tile and grout work comes almost entirely from referrals and repeat customers, there's no ad spend to steer.
- If your only paid channel is a directory or Yelp ads, there's no click ID to match, so a source field in Kickserv will tell you enough.
- If you get a handful of requests a month, reading the Kickserv inbox next to your ad reports may be all you need.
- If your plan doesn't include API access and you don't want to upgrade, we'll fix the browser side and be clear about its limits.

FAQ
Kickserv questions, answered
Not natively. Kickserv's integrations page covers QuickBooks, Stripe, Customer Lobby, Podium, Mailchimp and Google contacts and calendar, so ad tracking has to be built around it.
Not by itself, because no webhooks are documented. Kickserv's API lets a server pull jobs by status, so completed and paid jobs can be sent to Google Ads and Meta from your own records.
For the server-side part, yes. Kickserv's API documentation says API access is limited to premium plans. Without it, we can only repair browser-side tracking.
In a custom field on the customer or job. Kickserv's API accepts custom field values on both, which is what ties a paid invoice back to the original click.
They will if every visit counts. Recurring jobs are excluded from acquisition, so a dryer vent customer on a yearly schedule is counted once, as the first paid job.
