Your Five9 agents know which leads booked. Google and Meta only know someone filled out a form.
With Five9, the sale usually happens on a call your agent placed: a web lead lands on a dialing list, the dialer rings it, and an agent sets the appointment and picks a disposition. None of that goes back to your ad accounts, so Google and Meta keep buying more of whatever fills the list fastest. We carry the click ID into the Five9 record and send your real dispositions back as conversions.

Five9 · what breaks
What goes wrong with Five9 and your ads
- 01
"Our cost per lead looks great and the floor says the leads are trash"
Google and Meta count the form submit. Five9 holds the disposition that says wrong number, not interested or do not call, and your bidding never sees it, so it keeps buying the same junk.
- 02
"The appointment was set on our call, not theirs"
When the dialer calls a web lead back, that outbound call has no link to the ad click. Google's call reporting only measures calls people make to a forwarding number, so your best results show up nowhere.
- 03
"We can't tell which campaign fills the schedule"
A window or siding lead gets dialed, redialed and transferred. Without the click ID on the Five9 record, set appointments can't be tied to a campaign or ad set, so budget moves on gut feel.
- 04
"Meta counts more leads than Five9 has records"
Web2Campaign creates or updates a record based on the key fields you choose, so a second form fill from the same phone number can update one Five9 record while Meta and Google each count two leads. Your cost per lead looks lower than what actually reaches the dialer.
Five9 · the fix
What changes — Five9
Bidding learns from your dispositions
Google and Meta receive appointment-set and sale outcomes from Five9, so campaigns that only produce wrong numbers lose budget to the ones that fill the calendar.
Outbound wins credited to the right ad
The click ID rides on the Five9 contact record, so an appointment set on the third dialer attempt still matches the original click.
Lead counts that agree with your list
Platform lead totals reconcile to Five9 records, with repeat submissions and redials collapsed to one person.
Five9 · architecture
What Five9 actually lets you hook into
Five9 publishes its API names on its own site, but the detailed docs sit behind a customer login. Here's what is public and what we confirm in your domain.
- 1
Web2Campaign API
Listed among Five9's cloud APIs. Five9's developer program sample posts the domain, list name, phone number and key fields to an AddToList endpoint, which is where a click ID field gets added.
- 2
Reporting Web Services API
Also listed by Five9. We confirm your domain can pull call logs with dispositions, which is the source for the conversion feed.
- 3
Prebuilt CRM adapters
Five9 names Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle and Zendesk. If dispositions already land in your CRM, we may send conversions from there instead.
- 4
Web Connectors and CTI Web Services
Named on Five9's API list. We check in your admin whether a connector can post disposition data out at the end of a call.
- 5
No native ad platform connection
We found no Google Ads, GA4 or Meta integration in Five9's public material, so conversions are sent by us, server-side.
Five9 · diagnose
Where Five9 tracking breaks, in diagnostic order
Start at the form, because a click ID that never reaches Five9 can't be rebuilt later.
- 01
Does the click ID survive the Web2Campaign post?
Submit a lead from a tagged ad URL and open the Five9 record.
- 02
Which key fields decide create versus update?
Your key fields decide whether a repeat lead updates the old record or creates a new one.
- 03
Are redials and transfers counted as separate calls?
Every dialer attempt and transfer is its own call, so one lead can show up as several call records.
- 04
Do inbound ad calls ring a Google forwarding number first?
If calls route straight to your Five9 number, Google's call reporting can't see them.
- 05
Is the disposition list clean?
Agents defaulting to a catch-all disposition like "other" make every conversion feed built on Five9 unreliable.

Source of truth
Five9 call log and contact records: dispositions by lead and date, with the stored click ID and list name
- A test lead from a tagged ad URL, with the click ID confirmed on the Five9 contact record.
- Exactly one lead event per person in Meta Events Manager, deduplicated on a shared event ID.
- An appointment-set disposition arriving in Google Ads as one conversion, even after several redials.
- Wrong-number and do-not-call dispositions confirmed absent from every ad platform.
- A full closed week of dispositions matched record by record against both platforms.
- The same check repeated 30 days later and after any change to your disposition list.

Five9 · when not to buy
When you don't need this on Five9
Plenty of Five9 setups don't need a rebuild.
- If nearly all your leads come from purchased lead vendors and not your own ads, there's no click to send dispositions back to.
- If your CRM already receives Five9 dispositions and sends offline conversions to Google and Meta correctly, leave it alone.
- If you take inbound calls only and Google's forwarding numbers already count them with a sensible minimum call length, a settings check may be enough.
- If your agents don't pick dispositions consistently, fix that first, because no tracking can be better than the data on the floor.

FAQ
Five9 questions, answered
Not natively. We found no Google Ads, GA4 or Meta connection in Five9's public integration pages, which center on CRMs like Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Conversions reach Google and Meta through a server-side feed built on your Five9 data or your CRM.
Not as calls. Google's call tracking counts calls people make after an ad click, through a Google forwarding number. An appointment set on an outbound dialer call is sent as an offline conversion, matched on the click ID or hashed contact details stored with the lead.
Usually appointment set and sold or enrolled, plus a qualified step if volume is low. Wrong number, do not call and no answer should never be sent.
Not from our side. We add a field and read outcomes; we don't touch your DNC lists, time zone rules or dialing modes. Hashed contact data is only sent where your consent language covers it.
Often from Salesforce, if the Five9 adapter writes dispositions there reliably. We check both records on a test lead and pick the one that's complete.
