Your Quo line rings with jobs. Google and Meta can't tell which ads sent them.
Quo, the phone system formerly called OpenPhone, logs every inbound call, voicemail and text, but its integrations page lists no connection to Google Ads, GA4 or Meta. So your campaigns learn from tel: taps and long calls, not from the callers who booked. We take Quo's own call events, match them to the ad that drove them and send only real new-customer calls back to Google and Meta.

Quo · what breaks
What goes wrong when Quo is your phone line — Quo
- 01
"Google reports way more calls than we got customers"
Google counts every tap on your number and every call past a minimum length. Wrong numbers, suppliers and regulars calling your Quo line about an invoice all count as leads, and Smart Bidding spends to find more of them.
- 02
"Meta has no idea anyone called"
Someone clicks your Facebook ad, then dials your Quo number. A phone call isn't a web event, so the Pixel never sees it, and Quo has no Meta connection to fill the gap. Meta keeps optimizing for what happens on the page, not for the people who called.
- 03
"One number is on everything"
The same Quo line is on your Business Profile, website, vans and ads. Quo will add as many numbers as you want, but most shops never split them, so when it rings nobody knows which channel paid for the call.
- 04
"The job was booked by text two days later"
A missed call goes to voicemail, your tech texts back from Quo and the job closes in that thread. No ad platform links that job to the click, so the campaign that earned it looks like it failed.
Quo · the fix
What changes after we fix it — Quo
Google bids on booked calls, not long calls
Ad calls ring through Google forwarding numbers into your Quo line, and the ones that became jobs are imported back with their value, so Smart Bidding learns from paying customers.
Meta finally learns who calls
Qualified Quo calls go to Meta's Conversions API with a hashed caller number, so lead campaigns find more real customers.
Every Quo number tells you its source
Separate, named Quo numbers for ads, Business Profile and print, each reported on its own. Every extra number adds to your Quo bill, so we only add the ones that earn it.
Quo · architecture
What Quo actually lets you hook into — Quo
Quo has no ad-platform integration, but it documents a strong webhook and automation layer. Everything below is from Quo's own help center and API docs.
- 1
Webhooks for calls, messages and contacts
call.ringing, call.completed, recording, summary and transcript events, plus message.received and contact.updated. Set up by an Owner or Admin in the web or desktop app.
- 2
Call data that fits Google's import
Each call event carries from, to, direction, createdAt, answeredAt, completedAt and voicemail, which gives us the caller number and call start time Google's import requires.
- 3
Signed, retried delivery
Payloads carry an HMAC signature header and are retried for up to three days, so a brief outage doesn't drop calls.
- 4
Zapier and Make on every plan
Call and message triggers exist. We use them for small jobs like a call log, never for ad conversions.
- 5
CRM and field service sync
HubSpot and Salesforce sync Quo activity to records; Jobber and Housecall Pro log call summaries to customers and jobs. Housecall Pro and the CRM integrations need Business or Scale. Booked and paid status comes from there.
- 6
No dynamic number swapping
We found no visitor-level number insertion in Quo's docs, so ad calls are matched through Google forwarding numbers.
Quo · diagnose
Where Quo call tracking breaks, in the order we check — Quo
Start with the number on your ads: if Google can't see the call route, nothing downstream can be matched.
- 01
Check which number your call assets show
If ads display the raw Quo number instead of a Google forwarding number, Google can't import those calls at all.
- 02
Compare tel: conversions with Quo inbound calls
Same week, same hours. A big surplus in Google means taps are being counted as calls.
- 03
Look for repeat customers and outbound calls in the counts
Existing contacts calling about an invoice shouldn't train your bidding.
- 04
Find where your team marks a call as qualified
A Quo contact property such as a Prospect tag, a CRM stage or a booked job. Without one, there's nothing worth sending.
- 05
Check whether Meta receives any call events
On most Quo setups it receives none.
- 06
Confirm time zones on call timestamps
Quo's call times and your Google Ads account must agree, or imports land on the wrong click.

How we prove it on your Quo numbers — Quo
Tested with real calls from a live ad click to your production Quo numbers.
Source of truth
Quo call history: inbound calls per number with caller, start time and answered or missed status, cross-checked against booked jobs in your CRM or field service tool
- A test call from an ad click, seen in Quo and in Google's call details.
- The webhook received once, with a valid signature.
- A repeat-customer call confirmed absent from ad conversions.
- One Meta phone_call event per qualified call, checked in Events Manager.
- Imported Google conversions matched to Quo calls by caller number and start time.
- Booked and paid values confirmed against the job record.
- The whole check repeated 30 days later.

Quo · when not to buy
When you don't need this on Quo — Quo
Plenty of Quo users are fine without us. We'll say so when:
- If you don't run Google or Meta ads, Quo's own call history is all the reporting you need.
- If you only run Local Services Ads, Google already bills and reports those leads in your LSA account; Quo tracking won't change that.
- If you get a few calls a week and ask each caller how they found you, keep doing that.
- If you just want a spreadsheet of calls, a Zapier zap off Quo's Incoming call completed trigger does it. Set it up yourself.
Quo · what we deliver
The event map on Quo — Quo
Call button tapped
Browser-side tel: click on your site. Kept as a secondary signal; never used for bidding.
Inbound call answered
From Quo's call.completed event where answeredAt is set. Outbound calls and existing contacts are excluded.
Missed call or voicemail
Logged so you can see lost demand. It only becomes a lead when the callback or text thread connects.
Qualified call
The primary conversion: a new caller your team tags as a prospect, with a Quo contact property or a CRM stage. Spam, vendors and job seekers stay out.
Job booked
Pulled from Jobber, Housecall Pro, HubSpot or your calendar, with the estimate value attached.
Job paid
Final revenue sent as an adjusted value, so return on ad spend reflects money collected, not quotes.
Written guarantee
95%+ tracking accuracy
Measured against Quo call history: inbound calls per number with caller, start time and answered or missed status, cross-checked against booked jobs in your CRM or field service tool. Miss it and we keep working at no cost.

FAQ
Quo questions, answered
Not directly; its integrations page lists no Google Ads, GA4 or Meta connection. Calls reach Google Ads through Google forwarding numbers that ring your Quo line, and we import the booked ones by caller number and call start time.
No, it's a business phone system. You can add and name as many numbers as you like, but we found no visitor-level number swapping in its docs, so ad attribution relies on Google forwarding numbers.
Only server-side. Meta's Conversions API accepts a phone_call action source, and we send each qualified Quo call with a hashed caller number.
Quo's help center still documents the openphone-signature header, so receivers built for OpenPhone should keep verifying. We confirm it on a live call rather than assume.
Zapier and Make come with every Quo plan; many CRM integrations like HubSpot need Business or Scale. Quo states no plan for webhooks, so we check your workspace.
No. Outbound calls, existing contacts and anything your team doesn't mark as a real prospect are filtered out before a conversion is sent.
