Networx conversion tracking: stop guessing whether Networx or your own ads sign the jobs
You pay Networx for homeowner leads, you run Google or Meta ads, and the window, siding and foundation jobs from both land in one CRM with no reliable source. Networx sends each lead by text and email, so it shows up as a name and a phone number, not a tracked conversion. We label every Networx lead on arrival, keep those homeowners out of what your campaigns learn from, and put cost per signed contract for Networx next to Google and Meta.

Networx · what breaks
What goes wrong when Networx and your ads feed one pipeline
- 01
"I pay Networx and Google every month and can't say which one signs contracts"
A Networx lead and a Google Ads lead look identical once they're in your CRM. Without a source on each estimate, you can't compare what a signed window replacement or kitchen remodel costs on either, so budget follows whoever had the better week.
- 02
"The Networx homeowner looked us up, and now Google says our ad found them"
Once you call or text a Networx homeowner, they know your company name. If they search it, click your branded or retargeting ad and fill in your website form, your tag records a job Networx sourced as a paid-search conversion, and Smart Bidding learns from a customer it didn't find.
- 03
"Meta reports leads our ads couldn't have produced"
If your CRM uploads every new contact to Meta or Google, Networx homeowners go too. Meta matches uploaded contacts by hashed email and phone, so a homeowner Networx sent you who also viewed or clicked one of your ads inside your attribution window can be credited to your campaign.
- 04
"Networx leads get logged as 'phone call' or 'referral'"
The lead lands as a text and an email. If the office calls back and creates the contact by hand, the Networx label is gone, the spend you paid Networx looks wasted, and your Networx close rate is a guess.
Networx · the fix
What changes once Networx is separated
One honest cost per signed job
Networx lead charges and Google and Meta spend, each divided by the contracts they produced, in one monthly view you can act on.
Campaigns that learn only from ad-found homeowners
Offline conversions sent to Google Ads and Meta come only from records holding a captured click ID or ad-form ID; Networx records are removed before every upload.
A real answer on whether to keep buying
You see whether another month of Networx or more Google budget signs more of the foundation, gutter or kitchen jobs you actually want.

What Networx actually lets you hook into
The homeowner fills in the quote request on networx.com, so the lead exists before it ever touches your systems. Everything we build hangs off the delivery step.
- 1
Lead alerts by text message and email
Networx says it asks homeowners detailed questions about the job, then sends that information to you in real time by text and email. That alert is where the lead enters your systems.
- 2
Networx Pros app notifications
The Networx Pros app sends push notifications so you can contact leads, and lets you manage jobs and clients. We check what lead history it keeps for your reconciliation.
- 3
Zapier New Lead trigger
Zapier lists a Networx app with a New Lead trigger. The listing doesn't name its publisher, so we confirm it connects to your Networx pro account and which lead fields it carries before relying on it.
- 4
No tag, pixel or click ID
We found no documented way to put a Google tag, Meta Pixel or Tag Manager container on networx.com, and no ad click ID arrives with a Networx lead. Confirm whether your account shows anything different.
- 5
Your Networx profile
Every listed contractor gets a profile with photos, reviews, video and promotions. If it links to your website and Networx lets you edit that link, we add UTM tags so those visits show as Networx in GA4.
Networx · diagnose
Where Networx muddies your ad tracking, in the order we check
We start with what reaches Google and Meta, because a Networx homeowner counted as an ad win teaches your bidding the wrong lesson.
- 01
Check what your CRM uploads to Google Ads and Meta
Look for any sync that sends all new contacts or all won jobs, whatever their source.
- 02
Open five recent Networx leads in your CRM
See whether the source says Networx, phone, referral or nothing.
- 03
Search your own company name
See whether a branded Google ad or retargeting sits between a Networx homeowner and your website form.
- 04
Look for duplicates
The same homeowner arriving from Networx and then your own form becomes two leads; we match on phone and email.
- 05
Line up Networx charges with signed jobs
What you paid Networx for leads against contracts signed over the same closed period.

Source of truth
The Networx leads you paid for, from your Networx lead alerts and payment records, matched to the estimates, signed contracts and paid jobs in your CRM or estimating software
- A live Networx lead appears in your CRM labeled Networx without anyone retyping it.
- That record is confirmed absent from the next Google Ads and Meta offline upload.
- A test form from an ad-tagged URL lands in the CRM with its Google click ID stored.
- A homeowner who came from Networx, then filled in your website form, is merged into one Networx lead.
- A closed month of signed jobs matched by source against Networx charges, Google Ads and Meta.
- Rerun a month later, and again after any change to your Zapier steps or CRM.

Networx · when not to buy
When you don't need this for Networx
Some Networx buyers need a source column, not a build.
- If Networx is your only paid lead source, a tally of charges against signed jobs answers the question.
- If your CRM sends nothing back to Google or Meta, Networx can't distort your bidding. A required source field may be enough.
- If you take a few Networx leads a month, a spreadsheet column beats an integration.
- If you're still in your first weeks on Networx, give it time to produce signed jobs before paying to measure it.
Networx · what we deliver
The event map when you run Networx next to ads
Networx lead received
Created in your CRM from the Networx lead alert or Zapier's New Lead trigger, source fixed as Networx. Never sent to an ad platform.
Homeowner reached and estimate set
Logged per Networx lead so speed to contact and estimate rate can be compared with ad leads.
Ad lead captured
A form or tracked call from your own site or ads, stored with the Google click ID (GCLID), the Meta click ID or the Meta lead form ID.
Qualified ad lead
Sent back to Google Ads and Meta for ad-sourced records only; Networx leads, spam and out-of-area requests excluded.
Contract signed
Marked won for every lead in your CRM or estimating software, so Networx and ads are judged on the same milestone.
Job paid
Contract value uploaded for ad-sourced jobs; Networx revenue kept in your own report for the lead-cost comparison.
FAQ
Networx questions, answered
Not that we've found. We found no documented way to place your own tags on networx.com, because the quote request is filled in on Networx's site. Tracking starts when the lead reaches your phone, inbox or CRM.
No. Google's offline import relies on the click ID you save with the lead after an ad click, and a Networx lead never had one from your ads. If your CRM uploads it with an email for enhanced conversions for leads, Google can still match it to your ads, so we filter Networx records out before every upload.
Often, yes. Zapier lists a Networx app with a New Lead trigger, and we confirm it works with your pro account before using it to create the contact with Networx as the source. If it doesn't, we parse the lead email instead.
Divide what you spent on each by the contracts each signed over the same period. That needs Networx charges and ad outcomes in one report, which we build.
Part of it can be Networx homeowners: after you contact them, some search your company name and click your branded ad before filling in your form. We label those leads Networx so brand search stops taking credit for marketplace jobs.
Yes. Once Networx and ad leads are counted apart, we can manage your Google or Meta campaigns against cost per signed job and tell you straight when Networx is the cheaper source.
