Google Ads counts form fills. JobNimbus knows which jobs sold.
Your office sets "Google" as the Lead Source, and Google Ads keeps counting form fills that never became an inspection. JobNimbus lists no Google Ads, GA4 or Meta connection among its 25 integrations, so the signed contract never reaches the campaign that paid for it. We save the ad click on the contact, then send Sold jobs back with the estimate value, for roofers, siding and gutter crews, and other exterior contractors.

JobNimbus · what breaks
What goes wrong with JobNimbus and your ads
- 01
Every lead just says "Google"
When the office creates a job, someone selects one Lead Source. If your list has a single "Google" option, Google Ads, Local Services, your Business Profile and organic search all land under it, so you can't tell which campaign sold the roof or which one to cut.
- 02
Google Ads gets credit for form fills, not contracts
The conversion fires on your thank-you page. The signature lives in a JobNimbus status Google never sees, so bidding learns from tire-kickers and out-of-area storm leads.
- 03
Angi and door-knock leads pad the count
Angi pushes leads straight into JobNimbus, and SalesRabbit sends in every door-knock lead your reps pin. A Zap that fires on every new contact reports all of them to Google as ad leads.
- 04
The money shows up months after the click
Insurance approvals, supplements and final invoices land weeks or months after the click, and nothing sends that value back, so your best-paying jobs make your ads look expensive.
JobNimbus · the fix
What changes — JobNimbus
Campaigns learn from signed contracts
A job moving into your Sold stage becomes the conversion Google Ads and Meta optimize toward, valued from its estimate.
Lead source you don't have to guess
The click ID and campaign are written to the contact when it's created, so the dropdown isn't the only record.
Only ad leads count as ad results
Angi, SalesRabbit canvassing, referral and walk-in contacts are filtered out before anything reaches an ad platform.
JobNimbus · architecture
What JobNimbus actually lets you hook into
None of the 25 integrations in its help center is an ad platform or analytics tool. These are the pieces we build on.
- 1
Zapier triggers on contacts and jobs
Created, modified and deleted triggers for both. Job data includes status_name, date_status_change, source_name and is_lead; contact data carries the first three.
- 2
Zapier actions back into JobNimbus
Create Contact, Create Job and Update Contact, which is how a website lead and its click details can be written in. We confirm the custom fields map on your account.
- 3
Conditions inside JobNimbus Automations
A Zapier automation can be narrowed with conditions, such as only when Status equals Lead, so one status change sends one event.
- 4
Open API with scoped keys
API keys tied to an access profile, documented on Postman. JobNimbus itself recommends custom API work only for people who code.
- 5
Workflows, statuses and Stages
Each status sits in a fixed Stage such as Lead or Sold, a stable point to fire the sale from whatever you call your statuses.
JobNimbus · diagnose
Where JobNimbus tracking breaks, in diagnostic order
Start where the lead enters, because once a contact is saved without its click, nothing later can recover it.
- 01
Submit a test lead from an ad-tagged URL
Open the new contact and check whether any click ID or campaign made it in.
- 02
List every Zap that touches JobNimbus
Two Zaps on Contact Created send one lead twice, so this is the first thing we rule out when leads are double-counted.
- 03
Check statuses without a Stage
JobNimbus warns that a status with no Stage throws off Insights, and it leaves the Sold conversion with nothing reliable to fire on.
- 04
Compare Lead Source with real origin
Check whether the dropdown on recent sold jobs matches where each homeowner came from.
- 05
Check Angi and canvassing leads
Confirm they carry their own source and never reach an ad conversion.

Source of truth
JobNimbus job records: jobs that entered the Sold stage by date, with contact, Lead Source and estimate amount, plus JobNimbus Payments tied to each job's invoice
- One test lead from an ad-tagged URL, with the click ID confirmed on the JobNimbus contact.
- That job moved to Sold and recorded exactly once in Google Ads and once in Meta Events Manager.
- An Angi or canvassing contact confirmed absent from every ad destination.
- A lost job confirmed not reported as a sale.
- Sold jobs matched record by record against each platform across a closed window.
- Repeated 30 days later and after any change to your workflows or Zaps.

JobNimbus · when not to buy
When you don't need this on JobNimbus
Plenty of roofing and exterior shops on JobNimbus are fine without a rebuild.
- If your work comes from canvassing, referrals or adjusters and you don't run paid ads, there's nothing for ad platforms to learn from.
- If Local Services Ads is your only paid channel, there's no website click to carry into JobNimbus, so a clean Lead Source for those calls may be all you need.
- If your office records each lead's campaign accurately and spend is small, a quarterly export checked against Google Ads may be enough.
- If the only problem is a duplicate Zap, deleting it is a five-minute fix and we'll tell you to do it yourself.

The event map on JobNimbus
Website lead created
A contact from your site's form with the click ID and UTMs attached. A lead signal, never the sale.

Payments taken through JobNimbus Payments on the job's invoice, used to correct the value once the real number is in.
Lost or cancelled job
Kept out of conversions, and retracted where the ad platform allows it if the sale was already reported.
Non-ad sources
Angi, SalesRabbit canvassing, referral and repeat-customer records tagged and excluded from every ad destination.
Written guarantee

FAQ
JobNimbus questions, answered
Not directly. Its 25 listed integrations include Angi, SalesRabbit and Zapier but not Google Ads, GA4 or Meta, so we build the link through Zapier or the API and a server container.
Only if the ad click is saved on the contact when the lead comes in. Lead Source is one value chosen per job, so on its own it can't separate one campaign from another.
Whichever statuses you've assigned to the Sold stage. Stage names are fixed in JobNimbus, so the conversion keeps working when you rename statuses or add new ones, as long as each is assigned to Sold.
They can, if a Zap fires on every new contact, because Angi pushes leads straight into JobNimbus. We tag them by source and leave them out of every ad conversion.
Yes, if the click ID is on the contact. The sale goes back at Sold, and the value is corrected once JobNimbus Payments shows what was collected.
No. We build and test it on your account and hand over the documentation. JobNimbus says custom API work needs coding experience, and that's the part we handle.
