Your ads are taking credit for jobs Dodge found
Your estimators chase Dodge One projects and Bid Board invites all week, and your Google Ads campaigns bring in their own inquiries. Both land in the same CRM pipeline, so when you upload won jobs as offline conversions, Google and Meta get credit for work Dodge found. Fixed means every Dodge bid is tagged at entry and only ad-sourced wins reach the ad platforms.

Dodge Construction Network · what breaks
What goes wrong when Dodge feeds your CRM
- 01
Google Ads is getting credit for Dodge jobs
A tenant build-out your estimator found in Dodge One gets uploaded with every other closed-won deal, and bidding chases searches that never produced it.
- 02
Our offline conversion feed has GCs in it who never clicked an ad
When Dodge pushes verified contacts into your CRM, a blanket upload with hashed emails can match a GC who once clicked your ad to a project Dodge actually sourced, and Google pays more for clicks like that one.
- 03
I can't tell if the website or Dodge is paying for itself
Bid invites, Dodge leads and form fills share one pipeline with no reliable source field, so nobody can say which channel wins your commercial roofing or fire protection work.
- 04
Bid volume looks great and tells our campaigns nothing
A full Bid Board dashboard feels like demand, but none of it came from a click, and counting invites as leads teaches Smart Bidding the wrong lesson.
Dodge Construction Network · the fix
What changes after the fix — Dodge Construction Network
Clean offline conversions
Google Ads and Meta only receive projects that started with an ad click or a tracked call, with the click ID or matched contact attached.
A source on every bid
Dodge One, Bid Board, website form, tracked call and repeat GC each get a fixed value, set by rule rather than by whoever enters the deal.
Cost per awarded project by channel
Your Dodge subscription sits next to ad spend in one report, so renewals and budget changes are based on wins, not invite counts.
Dodge Construction Network · architecture
What Dodge Construction Network actually connects to
Dodge doesn't document a website widget, pixel or Google Ads connection. It's a project data source, so the hooks that matter are the ones that write into your CRM.
- 1
PipeLine for Salesforce and for Dynamics
Dodge's CRM packages. The Salesforce one is a certified managed package with a live, real-time API sync, and Dodge's Match and Append feature ties existing CRM accounts and records to Dodge company and project data. Dodge's homepage also lists HubSpot, which we confirm on your account.
- 2
Dodge One exports
Dodge One exports up to 10,000 project records at once into custom templates. We check whether your team loads those files into the CRM and what source they carry.
- 3
Dodge REST API
OAuth 2.0 and JSON access to projects, companies and contacts, and plan and spec documents, updated in real time rather than in a daily batch.
- 4
Bid Board inbox connection
Bid Board by Downtobid works with Gmail or Outlook, pulls invitations to bid onto one dashboard and dedupes the same job sent by several GCs. Its page doesn't document a CRM push, so we check how invites reach your pipeline.
- 5
No ad-platform connection
None of Dodge's product pages describe a conversion feed to Google or Meta, and you don't want one. Your website and call tracking carry the ad side.
Dodge Construction Network · diagnose
Where Dodge data breaks your ad tracking, in the order we check
We start with the upload, because that's where Dodge projects do the damage.
- 01
Read the offline conversion query
If it pulls every closed-won deal, Dodge awards are going to Google and Meta.
- 02
Check the lead source on Dodge-created records
Look at what PipeLine, the export template or manual entry writes, and whether it's blank or defaults to 'Web'.
- 03
Look for hashed-email matching
Enhanced conversions for leads matches hashed emails against signed-in Google accounts, so a Dodge contact who once clicked your ad can turn a Dodge award into an ad conversion. Those records get filtered before upload.
- 04
Confirm website leads keep their click ID
Submit a test inquiry from an ad-tagged URL and find the GCLID on the CRM record.
- 05
Check how Bid Board invites become deals
If an estimator converts invites into opportunities, they need the Bid Board source too.

Source of truth
Your CRM pipeline with the locked source field, cross-checked against Dodge One project records and Bid Board's invite history
- A test website inquiry from an ad-tagged URL, with the click ID confirmed on the CRM record.
- A Dodge project created through your normal sync or export path, with the Dodge source confirmed.
- The offline conversion job run on a closed window, with zero Dodge-tagged records in the upload.
- Awarded ad-sourced projects reconciled one by one against Google Ads and Meta.
- A Bid Board invite converted to an opportunity and confirmed absent from ad conversions.
- Repeated 30 days later and after any change to PipeLine or your export template.

Dodge Construction Network · when not to buy
When you don't need this — Dodge Construction Network
Plenty of Dodge subscribers are fine without us.
- If you don't run Google Ads or Meta, Dodge leads can't distort anything; a source field in the CRM is enough.
- If you never upload offline conversions and only count website form fills, Dodge projects aren't reaching the ad platforms.
- If your Dodge projects live only inside Dodge One and Bid Board and never get pushed into the CRM, there's nothing to filter.
- If almost all your work is public bids found through Dodge or IMS, put your effort into bidding, not ad attribution.

FAQ
Dodge Construction Network questions, answered
Not that Dodge documents. Dodge One and Bid Board are project data and bid tools with no ad-platform connection on their product pages. Your conversions come from your website and call tracking, and Dodge's job is to stay out of them.
Because nobody clicked an ad to produce them. Uploading Dodge awards tells Google and Meta those searches or audiences won the job, and bidding shifts toward traffic that didn't.
Dodge offers PipeLine for Salesforce, a managed package with a real-time API sync, and PipeLine for Microsoft Dynamics, and its homepage lists HubSpot too. We confirm which one you use and what source value it writes.
Count them for estimating and GC win-rate reporting, which Bid Board tracks by GC and building type. Don't count them as ad leads, since GCs email those invites to you directly; no campaign produced them.
Tag the source on every opportunity, then compare awarded projects and contract value per dollar spent. The free audit does this on last year's wins.
Mostly commercial trades: general contractors, roofing, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, low voltage, paving, demolition and excavation firms that bid commercial work and also want inbound service calls.
