TicketLeap · Conversion tracking

Conversion tracking for TicketLeap events

TicketLeap sells from its own hosted event page: your ad lands a buyer on your site, they press Buy Tickets, and the rest happens on TicketLeap. It ships more native tags than most — a Meta Pixel covering the funnel, GA4, a Google Ads global pixel and Microsoft Ads — but every one runs in the buyer's browser, and the GA4 ID is documented for event pages only. When a blocker or Safari gets in the way, the purchase is simply not seen.

Every figure above is either a commitment we put in writing or a countable fact. What your own setup is losing is not on this list, because we haven’t measured it yet — that happens on the call, against your own order records.

The problem

The TicketLeap blind spots

TicketLeap-specific issues
Leak #01

GA4 that stops at the event page

Your analytics may see interest but not the sale itself.

Leak #02

Every tag in the browser

A blocked pixel means a lost Purchase, with no backup.

Leak #03

The Buy Tickets hop

The jump from your site to TicketLeap splits the session in two.

Leak #04

Meta and Google disagree about the same weekend

Browser-only data, different windows, nobody reconciling.

Architecture

What TicketLeap actually lets you do

TicketLeap's documented marketing integrations, plus the parts we have to confirm on your account.

  1. Step 1

Native Meta Pixel with four events

PageView, ViewContent, InitiateCheckout and Purchase, fired by TicketLeap.

  2. Step 2

    GA4 measurement ID

Documented for event pages; do not assume it reaches the purchase.

  3. Step 3

Google Ads global pixel and Microsoft Ads conversion

    Both supported natively, both browser-side.

  4. Step 4

GTM and TikTok: to be checked

Not confirmed in TicketLeap's docs, so we test on your account before relying on either.

  5. Step 5

Order data out: webhooks, Zapier or export

Unconfirmed. Whichever exists decides how the server-side purchase is fed.

Diagnostic sequence

Finding the TicketLeap leak

Ordered so each step narrows the cause before the next one starts.

  1. 1

Compare Meta Purchases with TicketLeap orders for one event

The cleanest first number you can get.

  2. 2

See what GA4 records after Buy Tickets

If it ends at the event page, that explains the revenue gap.

  3. 3

Buy with an ad blocker switched on

Shows how much of your audience is invisible right now.

  4. 4

Hunt for duplicate pixels on your own site

A theme Purchase plus TicketLeap's own doubles the count.

  5. 5

Check Google Ads and Bing count the same orders

Disagreement usually means one tag is misconfigured.

Source-of-truth validation

Proof on a TicketLeap event

We buy a real ticket on a live event; preview mode doesn't count.

Source of truthTicketLeap's sales report — orders per event with ticket counts and totals
  • A ticket bought from an ad-tagged link, with the click ID still present on TicketLeap.
  • The native Purchase and the server Purchase merged into one at Meta.
  • Google Ads and Microsoft Ads each recording that single order.
  • Order total and ticket count matching TicketLeap exactly.
  • A purchase made behind an ad blocker, confirmed arriving server-side.
  • One complete event reconciled against every order.
  • Run again on the following event to confirm nothing drifted.

Straight talk

When TicketLeap's native tags are enough

TicketLeap does a lot out of the box, so this comes up more often than you would expect.

  • If Meta is your only paid channel and its Purchase count is already within a few percent of real orders, the native pixel is doing its job.
  • If your events sell out through email lists and word of mouth, paid attribution is not where your money goes.
  • If you run one event a year, a server build may not pay for itself before the next one.

Who this is for

Honest about who we’re a fit for.

We don’t take every project. Here’s how to tell if we’re right for you.

Good fit

You’re a great fit if…

  • You run TicketLeap (or are migrating to it)
  • You spend $5K+/month on paid ads (Meta, Google, TikTok, Microsoft, LinkedIn)
  • Your reported ROAS doesn’t match what your bank account is saying
  • You want to own your tracking stack — no monthly SaaS fees forever
  • You have 2–4 days to do this once and never think about it again
Not a fit

Skip us if…

  • You spend less than $500/month on paid ads (browser pixel is fine)
  • You want a SaaS dashboard with monthly fees forever (Triple Whale, Hyros)
  • You need attribution modeling — we fix the data foundation, not multi-touch reports
  • You want a 6-month enterprise consulting engagement (we ship in 4 days)
  • You expect us to manage your ad accounts (we don’t — that’s a different service)

If you’re still unsure, book the call anyway— we’ll tell you straight whether we can help.

Got questions?

The honestanswers.

No buzzwords, no upsell. If we don’t know, we say so.

01TicketLeap already has a Meta Pixel. Why would we need more?

The native pixel runs in the buyer's browser, so blocked or restricted browsers drop Purchases. A server event next to it, deduplicated on a shared ID, recovers those without double counting.

02Does GA4 on TicketLeap track ticket sales?

TicketLeap documents the GA4 ID for event pages. Test whether a purchase actually lands in your GA4 property before using it for revenue.

03Can we use Google Tag Manager on TicketLeap?

We have not confirmed GTM support in TicketLeap's documentation. We check your account; if it is absent, the native tags plus a server path are the route.

04We advertise on Bing. Is that covered?

Yes. TicketLeap supports a Microsoft Ads conversion natively, and we tie it to the same order so Bing does not count differently from Google.

05How do we track which ticket tier someone bought?

Carry the tier as a parameter on the purchase, so a VIP sale and an early-bird sale are not averaged into one value.
