Scorpion says your ads are working. Can you prove it from your own jobs?

Scorpion builds the site on its own CMS, puts its tracking numbers and chat on it, runs the ads and reports results in its own dashboard. That's convenient until you try to match a lead count to the jobs in ServiceTitan or the signed cases in Clio. We check what Google Ads and Meta are actually told, then send booked jobs and signed matters back to the clicks that produced them, in accounts you own.

Scorpion · what breaks

What goes wrong when Scorpion runs the site and the ads

  1. 01

The agency grades its own homework

Scorpion's dashboard counts leads from Scorpion's numbers, chat and site. If Google Ads gets those same counts, nobody outside the agency checks whether they became a paid HVAC call or a retained DUI client, and you keep renewing on a number you can't audit.

  2. 02

Every call to the tracking number looks like a lead

Leads AI scores calls in Scorpion's dashboard. Whether that score shapes your bidding is something we check. If the ad account counts every ring, customers calling about invoices teach Smart Bidding to buy more of them.

  3. 03

You may not be able to fix your own tags

The site runs on Scorpion's proprietary CMS, which you don't own. If adding or repairing a Meta Pixel means a request to Scorpion's team, Meta keeps optimizing on bad data until that request is done.

  4. 04

Jobs in ServiceTitan never reach the ad click

Scorpion says it pulls job and revenue data from ServiceTitan daily to tune its marketing, and that its technology feeds results back to ad partners. It doesn't say how. We check whether a booked foundation repair reaches Google Ads as a valued offline conversion. If it doesn't, bidding treats the big job and the no-show estimate the same.

Scorpion · the fix

What changes once Scorpion's numbers tie to your jobs

  • Google Ads learns from booked work

Paid jobs and signed matters go back to the click ID with their value, so bidding chases the drain emergency and the injury case, not the price shopper.

  • A count you can check yourself

Each reported conversion lines up with a named job in ServiceTitan or a matter in Clio, so the monthly Scorpion review starts from your numbers.

  • Tracking that survives a change of agency

Conversion actions, Pixel and server container live in accounts you own, so leaving Scorpion doesn't reset your bidding history.

Scorpion · architecture

What a Scorpion setup actually lets you hook into

Scorpion publishes product pages, not developer docs, so anything it doesn't state is listed as a check.

  1. 1

    Your own GA4 property

Scorpion's FAQ says you keep ownership of Google Analytics. Confirm you're an admin, not a viewer.

  2. 2

    Tracking numbers on the site

Scorpion refers to your website's call tracking number. Check whether it swaps per visitor, which decides if a call can be tied to one click.

  3. 3

    ServiceTitan integration

Scorpion says leads go into ServiceTitan and job and revenue data comes back daily. The paid event starts from that job.

  4. 4

    Clio Grow integration

Scorpion says leads land in the Clio Grow Lead Inbox and intake status and case values flow back. Confirm the click ID reaches the matter.

  5. 5

    Pixels and tags

On a CMS you don't control, we confirm whether you can add a Pixel or Google tag yourself or need Scorpion's team to do it.

  6. 6

Offline import: a check, not a given

Scorpion says its tech feeds results back to Google and Meta but doesn't describe offline imports or Meta's Conversions API, so we confirm what arrives and build that path from your records.

Scorpion · diagnose

Where Scorpion tracking breaks, in the order we check

On an agency-run account the commonest fault is reporting nobody can verify, so ownership and counting come first.

  1. 01

Who owns Google Ads and its conversion actions

Scorpion's FAQ lists GA4, Local Services Ads and social accounts among those it hands back when you leave. It doesn't name Google Ads.

  2. 02

    Which conversion actions are primary

A chat opened, any-length call and form submit all set primary will inflate results.

  3. 03

How many Meta Pixels fire on one test lead

Counted in Events Manager from the live site.

  4. 04

Whether the click ID reaches ServiceTitan or Clio

Test ad click, then open the record Scorpion created.

  5. 05

    Reported leads versus paid jobs

Per record, over a closed month.

Scorpion · prove

How we prove a Scorpion fix works

Run on the live Scorpion site from an ad-tagged URL, with the lead followed into your job or case system.

Source of truth

Your ServiceTitan jobs and invoices, or your Clio Grow matters and case values, not the Scorpion dashboard

  • A test call to the tracking number and a test form, each traced to its click.
  • One Meta event per lead, with a shared event ID across browser and server.
  • Repeat-customer calls absent from the Google Ads lead conversion.
  • A booked job or signed matter received by Google Ads with value and click ID.
  • A canceled job retracted from Google Ads conversions.
  • Paid jobs or signed cases reconciled record by record over a closed month.
  • Repeated 30 days later and after any Scorpion site update.

Scorpion · when not to buy

When you don't need this with Scorpion

Some Scorpion setups already report against booked work, and we'll tell you if yours does.

  • If Scorpion's reported leads already match your ServiceTitan jobs or Clio cases closely, and Google Ads bids on booked work, leave it alone.
  • If you only run Local Services Ads through Scorpion, the leads already sit in Google's own record.
  • If you're leaving Scorpion next month, build tracking on the new site instead of patching this one.
  • If the only issue is missing admin access to GA4 or Google Ads, ask Scorpion. That's an email, not a project.

Scorpion · what we deliver

The event map on a Scorpion site

  • First-time call to a Scorpion tracking number

New callers past a duration you pick. Repeat customers, vendors and spam excluded.

  • Website form or AI chat lead

Sent once per platform with the click ID and a shared event ID.

  • Qualified lead

From the intake outcome, not the Leads AI score alone.

  • Job booked or consultation set

Taken from ServiceTitan or Clio Grow, where Scorpion already sends leads.

  • Job paid or case signed

The money event, with the invoice total or attorney-entered case value, sent server-side.

  • Cancellations and duplicates

Canceled jobs retracted in Google Ads; one lead by call and chat counted once.
