AutoLeap conversion tracking: your calendar is full, but which ads filled it?
AIR adds after-hours appointment requests to your AutoLeap calendar, customers approve estimates by text, and invoices get paid from a link on their phone. Google Ads still can't say which campaign brought in last week's transmission job, so it keeps bidding on rings and form fills. We tie website bookings, ad calls AIR picks up and Google Book Online appointments to the repair orders you invoice in AutoLeap, then send the paid ones to Google Ads and Meta.

AutoLeap · what breaks
What goes wrong with AutoLeap and your ads
- 01
AIR booked the appointment, but nobody knows which ad made the phone ring
AIR puts appointment requests straight onto your AutoLeap calendar, but its public page says nothing about recording which ad the caller came from. Google Ads never learns which calls became brake jobs, so it keeps paying for the ones that didn't.
- 02
Google Book Online jobs land with no source at all
The Book Online button on your Google listing books into AutoLeap without the customer loading your website. No site tag sees it, so those cars go uncredited or get lumped in with whatever campaign ran that week.
- 03
The money happens in a text message the ads never see
Customers approve estimates from their phone and pay from the invoice link you text or email them, processed through Global Payments. Google and Meta only saw a page view or a form, so they optimize for cheap inquiries, not approved repair orders.
- 04
I can't check the ROI number against my own repair orders
If AutoLeap's own team runs your Google Ads, the service page promises real-time ROI tracking but doesn't explain how ROI is calculated. You're judging spend with a figure you can't trace to an invoice.
AutoLeap · the fix
What changes after we fix it — AutoLeap
Google Ads bids toward paid repair orders
Paid AutoLeap invoices go back to Google Ads with their real value, so Smart Bidding chases transmission and AC jobs, not oil-change price shoppers.
Every booking path gets its own label
Website bookings, AIR-answered ad calls, Google Book Online and Steer appointments each show up separately, so you see which one fills bays.
Regulars stop counting as new business
Returning customers and warranty comebacks are filtered out before anything reaches Google or Meta, so your cost per new customer is the real one.
AutoLeap · architecture
What AutoLeap actually lets you hook into
AutoLeap's public pages describe where bookings and payments enter the system. They don't document an ad-tracking integration, so that part is treated as something we confirm on your account.
- 1
Website booking
AutoLeap says customers can visit your shop website and choose a slot, but doesn't publish how that step is embedded. We test whether it's a link, a frame or a hosted page, and whether ad parameters survive it.
- 2
Google Book Online
A Book Online button on your Google listing that books onto your AutoLeap calendar. It runs on Google Search and Maps, never on your site.
- 3
AIR, the AI receptionist
Answers calls, captures name, number and vehicle, and places appointment requests on your calendar, with transcripts in the AIR Portal. Source tracking isn't mentioned.
- 4
Steer partner integration
Listed under Shop Bookings as a front-of-house platform covering booking, phones and marketing. If you use it, we check what it records about each caller's source.
- 5
Payments and QuickBooks Online
Global Payments records card and online payments in AutoLeap automatically, and QuickBooks Online syncs them. This is where the paid value lives.
- 6
No documented ad connectors
We found no public AutoLeap docs for GA4, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversions, Zapier, an API or webhooks. We confirm what your plan offers; until then, paid invoices leave by export.
AutoLeap · diagnose
Where AutoLeap tracking breaks, in the order we check
We start at the booking button, because that's the step most shops assume is tracked and usually isn't.
- 01
Follow the Book button on your website
Where it goes, which domain it loads on, and whether a test booking fires any tag.
- 02
Book from an ad-tagged URL and open the customer record
If no click ID or UTM shows up in AutoLeap, matching has to run on phone or email.
- 03
Separate Google Book Online from website bookings
Two different sources that should never share a conversion action.
- 04
Trace the ad call into AIR
Confirm the tracking number forwards cleanly and AIR's request keeps the caller's number.
- 05
Compare paid invoices with reported conversions
Invoice by invoice over a closed month, with returning customers removed.
AutoLeap · prove
The QA evidence — AutoLeap
Every check runs on real bookings and real invoices in your AutoLeap account, not on a demo shop.
Source of truth
AutoLeap repair orders and paid invoices: date, customer phone, invoice total, and whether the customer is new or returning
- A booking from an ad-tagged URL, matched to the right AutoLeap customer.
- An ad call answered by AIR, matched by caller number to its appointment request.
- A Google Book Online appointment confirmed under its own source label, not a campaign's.
- Each paid invoice reported once in Google Ads and once in Meta.
- Returning customers and comebacks confirmed absent from the acquisition conversion.
- Paid repair orders reconciled one by one across a closed window.
- The same check repeated 30 days later.

AutoLeap · when not to buy
When you don't need this on AutoLeap
Plenty of AutoLeap shops are fine without us, and we'd rather say so.
- If you don't run paid ads and your calendar fills from regulars, referrals and Google Book Online, there's nothing to attribute.
- If AutoLeap's team runs your Google Ads and can show which repair orders their ROI figure counts, ask for that report first.
- If you run a quick-lube or inspection lane where nearly everyone drives in, track calls and directions instead of repair orders.
- If the only problem is a missing call conversion on your click-to-call button, that's a small fix and we'll tell you how to do it yourself.
AutoLeap · what we deliver
The event map on AutoLeap
Ad click captured on your site
Google and Meta click IDs plus UTMs stored first-party before the visitor books or taps to call.
Ad call, including calls AIR answers
Logged from a tracking number on the ad, then matched to AIR's appointment request by the caller's phone number.
Appointment on the AutoLeap calendar
Tagged by path: website, Google Book Online, Steer or phone. A leading signal, not the conversion.
Estimate approved
The qualified step, carrying the estimate total once the customer signs off by text or in the shop.
Invoice paid
The conversion Google Ads and Meta optimize toward, valued at the paid invoice total.
Excluded on purpose
Returning customers, warranty comebacks, fleet accounts and AIR requests your service advisors declined.
Written guarantee
95%+ tracking accuracy
Measured against AutoLeap repair orders and paid invoices: date, customer phone, invoice total, and whether the customer is new or returning. Miss it and we keep working at no cost.

FAQ
AutoLeap questions, answered
Not in AutoLeap's public documentation, which lists booking, parts, payments, accounting and review integrations but no Google Ads, GA4 or Meta Pixel connector. We send paid repair orders from your AutoLeap records to Google Ads ourselves.
Not reliably. The customer books on your Google listing and never reaches your site, so there's no website click ID to match. We give those bookings their own label instead of letting them inflate a campaign.
Not from AIR alone. We log the call on an ad tracking number, match it to AIR's appointment request by caller phone, and report it once it becomes a paid invoice.
Maybe not. Ask them how their real-time ROI tracking is calculated and whether it ties to paid repair orders; if it does and matches your invoices, you're covered.
Yes. Meta's Conversions API accepts offline and CRM events, so we send paid invoices with hashed phone or email and the invoice value, never repair details.
Shops where one job is worth a lot and the ads drive it: transmission, brake, auto AC and electrical repair. A single-bay quick lube usually needs far less.
