Conversion tracking for salons and spas on Rosy
A salon on Rosy takes online bookings through several doors: the website, a mobile web app, the Facebook business page, and Google Search and Maps through Reserve with Google. Only one of those is a page you control. A client who sees your ad and then books from Google Maps or your Facebook page never touches your tags, and Rosy documents no pixel or analytics hooks we could confirm, so the booking has to be matched from Rosy's own records.

Rosy · what breaks
Where salon bookings slip past your ads on Rosy
- 01
Reserve with Google bookings happen on Google
The client books from Search or Maps. No visit to your site, no pixel, no conversion in Meta.
- 02
Facebook page bookings outside Ads Manager's view
Booking from your business page is convenient, but a booking there is not automatically an ad conversion.
- 03
Cancellation fills counted as new business
Rosy can fill cancellations from Facebook. Most of those are regulars grabbing an earlier slot, not new clients.
- 04
A blowout and a color correction valued the same
Service tickets vary widely in a salon, and one flat value hides which ads bring the bigger services.
Rosy · the fix
What the salon gets — Rosy
Each booking door counted on its own
So Reserve with Google stops being invisible.
New clients as the conversion
Regulars rebooking kept separate.
Checked-out ticket value attached
From what was actually charged at the visit.
Rosy · architecture
What Rosy actually lets you do
Rosy documents its booking channels. Its tracking options are unverified and listed as checks.
- 1
Online scheduling from your website and a mobile web app
Check whether this is a link, an embed or a frame, because it decides whether your own tags see anything.
- 2
Booking and cancellation fills on your Facebook business page
Clients can book directly on the page, outside your website.
- 3
Reserve with Google
Clients can book from Google Search and Maps without visiting your site.
- 4
Pixel and Google Analytics support: unverified
Check whether Rosy's booking pages accept either. Plan as though they do not until a test booking shows otherwise.
- 5
Check how bookings and tickets can be exported
A report or export is the fallback for matching bookings to ads server-side.
Rosy · diagnose
Where Rosy tracking breaks, in diagnostic order
In a salon the question is usually which door the booking came through, so that is where the checks begin.
- 01
Split last month's online bookings by door
Website, mobile web, Facebook and Google. Only the website share could be tracked by a pixel.
- 02
Book a test appointment on your website
If no platform records it, even the trackable door is dark.
- 03
Check whether new clients are flagged
Regulars booking online inflate every channel.
- 04
Compare booked and checked-out appointments
No-shows and cancellations vary by campaign and by service.
- 05
Look at the value sent with conversions
If there is none, a cut and a full color are counted as equal.
Rosy · prove
Proving it at the salon — Rosy
Done with test clients through each of the doors your real clients use.

Rosy · when not to buy
When you don't need this on Rosy
Many salons do fine without it. You may be one of them.
- If your book is full of regulars and your stylists rebook clients at checkout, ads are a small part of the picture.
- If you do not run paid ads and most new clients find you on Google Maps, track your Business Profile actions instead.
- If you spend a little on one Facebook promotion at a time, compare new-client counts before and during it by hand.
- If the front desk asks every new client how they found you and records it in Rosy, start by reading that report.

FAQ
Rosy questions, answered
We could not confirm that from Rosy's documentation. Check your settings and make a test booking; if the pixel has nowhere to go, bookings are matched from Rosy's records instead.
Not through a pixel, because the booking happens on Google. They can be matched server-side if the client's phone or email matches someone who clicked an ad.
Not on its own. It is a booking made on Facebook, which is different from a conversion reported to Ads Manager.
The final ticket from checkout. Add-ons, retail and upgrades mean the booked service price is often wrong.
For retention, yes. Keep them out of acquisition conversions, or every ad looks better than it is.
