Conversion tracking for iClosed sales calls
iClosed books sales calls behind qualification questions, usually inside a funnel page, and the calendar itself cannot tell your website a call was booked. The documented workaround is the Confirmation Page setting: switch it from iClosed's default to a thank-you page on your own site. That redirect arrives with the booker's email and full name in the URL, which is the best matching key you will get and a privacy problem the moment an analytics tag records the address.

iClosed · what breaks
What goes wrong on iClosed funnels
- 01
A calendar that can't report a booking
Without the redirect, the funnel page never learns a call was booked.
- 02
Email addresses sitting in page URLs
invitee_email and invitee_full_name in the address bar end up in GA page paths and pixel requests unless they are removed.
- 03
Booked calls treated as the win
Sales-call funnels lose a share of bookings to no-shows. Optimizing for bookings rewards whichever traffic books most, not whichever buys.
- 04
Qualification answers ignored
The questions decide who is worth a call, yet the conversion treats every booking the same.
iClosed · the fix
What changes — iClosed
A booking event on your own domain
Fired from your confirmation page, inside your first-party setup.
Identity passed safely
Email read once, hashed, sent server-side, then cleared from the URL.
Held calls and closed deals sent back
From your sales records, as later and more valuable conversions.
iClosed · architecture
What iClosed actually lets you do
Based on the documented confirmation-page method. Native pixels and webhooks are unconfirmed.
- 1
Qualification questions before the calendar
Prospects answer before they can pick a slot.
- 2
Embedded or hosted event pages
Often placed inside a funnel builder page.
- 3
A Confirmation Page setting
Switch it from the iClosed default to a URL on your own site.
- 4
Name and email in the redirect URL
Passed as invitee_full_name and invitee_email in the documented setup.
- 5
Check for native pixels or webhooks
Not confirmed. If a webhook exists, it is a sturdier trigger than the redirect.
iClosed · diagnose
Where iClosed tracking breaks, in diagnostic order
iClosed tracking tends to fail at one setting first, then at what happens to the personal data once it lands.
- 01
Check each event's Confirmation Page setting
On the default, no booking ever reaches your site.
- 02
Book a call and read the redirect URL
Confirm both parameters actually arrive.
- 03
Search GA for email addresses in page paths
Google's terms prohibit sending personal information to Analytics; if they are there, they need scrubbing.
- 04
Reload the thank-you page and count conversions
A reload that fires again doubles your bookings.
- 05
Compare booked calls with held calls by campaign
This is usually where campaign rankings change.

Source of truth
iClosed's booked calls, matched to your sales records for held and closed calls
- A call booked from a tagged ad through the funnel, landing on your confirmation page with the parameters present.
- Email and name shown absent from every analytics and pixel request.
- The booking shown to arrive once at each platform, hashed, even after a reload.
- Held and closed calls matched per person.
- No-shows shown to carry no value.
- Reconciled over a closed window.
- Re-checked 30 days later and whenever a new iClosed event is created.

iClosed · when not to buy
When you don't need this on iClosed
If the redirect is already right, most of the work is already done.
- If every iClosed event already redirects to your own page and nothing personal appears in analytics, you may only need the held-call loop.
- If your calls come from referrals and outbound rather than ads, track the CRM pipeline instead.
- If you book only a few calls a week, platforms cannot learn from closed deals; optimize on qualified bookings and review closes by hand.
- If your funnel builder already handles the confirmation redirect and sends server-side events, we will check it rather than rebuild it.

FAQ
iClosed questions, answered
The calendar cannot tell your page a booking happened. Change each event's Confirmation Page to your own URL and fire from there.
It can be. Analytics tags record full URLs, so the email has to be read, hashed for matching, and removed before they load.
Check each one. The documented method treats it as an event setting, so a newly created event may still be on the default.
Booked or qualified calls for volume, with closed deals sent as offline value. Closed deals on their own are usually too few to learn from.
We have not confirmed one. The confirmation-page route works regardless.
