Wix Bookings · Conversion tracking
Conversion tracking for Wix Bookings
Wix Bookings runs natively on your Wix site, from service page to Book Now, date and time, then checkout or a thank-you page, and Wix sends a Schedule event automatically to the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, Google Tag Manager, GA4 and the TikTok Pixel. Paid bookings, and the first booking under a pricing plan, also send Purchase. That is more built in than most booking tools offer, so the problems here are subtler: Schedule and Purchase both counted for one paid booking, free services weighted like paid ones, and no way to put a custom conversion pixel on the Bookings thank-you page.

Founders, marketers, and agency owners describing the before-and-after of their Wix Bookings tracking rebuild — in their own words, on camera.
Wix Bookings' quieter failure modes
Schedule and Purchase on the same paid booking
Optimizing on both counts one client twice.
A thank-you page you can't add code to
Wix doesn't support a custom conversion pixel there, so old habits fail quietly.
Pricing-plan bookings after the first
Only the first plan booking sends Purchase, so repeat use looks different.
Hand-added pixels on top of the native ones
A site-wide snippet plus Wix's integration doubles every event.
Architecture
What Wix Bookings actually lets you do
More than most booking tools, and documented in detail.
Step 1
Automatic Schedule event
Sent to Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, Google Tag Manager, GA4 and TikTok Pixel on each booking.
Step 2
Purchase on paid bookings
Also sent for the first booking under a pricing plan.
Step 3
Funnel events to the Meta Pixel
ViewContent, InitiateCheckout and AddPaymentInfo are listed alongside Purchase.
Step 4
Contact info to Meta Pixel and CAPI
Sent with the Schedule event, which helps matching.
Step 5
No custom pixel on the Bookings thank-you page
Wix doesn't support it, so conversions come from the native events.
Diagnostic sequence
Checking a Wix Bookings setup
Most Wix problems are duplicates, not gaps.
- 1
List every connected marketing integration
Then every hand-added snippet that does the same job.
- 2
Book a free service and a paid one
Count how many Schedule and Purchase events each produces at Meta.
- 3
Check which event Meta and Google Ads optimize on
Using both for paid services double-counts.
- 4
Check Google Ads specifically
Wix sends to GTM and GA4; how Google Ads receives the booking depends on what you import.
- 5
Look at later bookings by pricing-plan clients
They don't send Purchase, so they need a decision of their own.
Source-of-truth validation
QA on a live Wix site
Run with a free, a paid and a pricing-plan test booking on your published site.
- A free test booking producing one Schedule event at each connected platform.
- A paid test booking producing Schedule and Purchase, with only one used as the optimizing conversion.
- A first pricing-plan booking confirmed to send Purchase.
- No hand-added pixel duplicating the native events.
- The Google Ads conversion confirmed received once, by GA4 import or server side.
- A closed month of bookings reconciled per booking by service type.
- Run once more after 30 days, and again whenever Wix changes how its integrations send.
Straight talk
When Wix's own integrations are enough
On Wix this is a real possibility, so read this part first.
- If you advertise only on Meta and the native Pixel plus Conversions API counts already match your bookings, you may need nothing more.
- If every service is a free consultation, Schedule is already the right event and Wix sends it for you.
- If there is no hand-added code and one integration per platform, there may be no duplicates to clean up.
- If Google Ads imports the booking from GA4 and the numbers reconcile, leave it.
Who this is for
Honest about who we’re a fit for.
We don’t take every project. Here’s how to tell if we’re right for you.
You’re a great fit if…
- You run Wix Bookings (or are migrating to it)
- You spend $5K+/month on paid ads (Meta, Google, TikTok, Microsoft, LinkedIn)
- Your reported ROAS doesn’t match what your bank account is saying
- You want to own your tracking stack — no monthly SaaS fees forever
- You have 2–4 days to do this once and never think about it again
Skip us if…
- You spend less than $500/month on paid ads (browser pixel is fine)
- You want a SaaS dashboard with monthly fees forever (Triple Whale, Hyros)
- You need attribution modeling — we fix the data foundation, not multi-touch reports
- You want a 6-month enterprise consulting engagement (we ship in 4 days)
- You expect us to manage your ad accounts (we don’t — that’s a different service)
If you’re still unsure, book the call anyway— we’ll tell you straight whether we can help.

Got questions?
The honestanswers.
No buzzwords, no upsell. If we don’t know, we say so.
01Does Wix Bookings send conversions to Meta automatically?
Yes. Wix sends a Schedule event to the Meta Pixel and Conversions API on each booking, with contact info, and Purchase for paid bookings.
02Should I optimize on Schedule or Purchase?
Purchase for paid services, Schedule for free ones. Using both on the same paid service counts each client twice.
03Can I add my own conversion pixel to the Wix Bookings thank-you page?
No. Wix doesn't support a custom conversion pixel there, so the native events are the route.
04What about Google Ads?
Wix sends Schedule to Google Tag Manager and GA4. Google Ads needs those imported or sent another way, and that's usually the first thing we check.
05Why don't later pricing-plan bookings show as purchases?
Wix sends Purchase only for the first booking under a pricing plan. Later bookings send Schedule, which is often right, since the plan was already paid.
