Conversion tracking for Simplero programs and calls

Simplero hosts the whole coaching funnel itself: the landing page, the opt-in, the checkout and the course or membership behind it. That keeps everything on one platform but leaves you depending on whatever tracking code Simplero lets you place, and its integrations page doesn't spell that out. The documented exits are Zapier and Pipedream, and the conversion that matters — a program bought, often on a payment plan — is exactly the one a browser pixel tends to under-value.

Simplero · what breaks

Where Simplero sales go missing

  1. 01

Payment plans reported at the first charge

A program sold in installments shows the ad platform a fraction of its price.

  2. 02

    Opt-ins inflating the conversion count

A free download and a paid enrollment land in the same column.

  3. 03

Launch weeks with no clear source

Email, affiliates and organic all spike during cart-open, crowding out paid clicks.

  4. 04

Failed installments and refunds never reversed

The ad account keeps credit for revenue that never arrived.

Simplero · the fix

What changes — Simplero

  • Enrollments at their real contract value

Or first payment plus an expected remainder — decided with you up front.

  • Lead magnets kept out of the purchase signal

Sent as their own low-value event.

  • Refunds and defaulted plans subtracted

Pushed out of Simplero through the automation layer.

Simplero · architecture

What Simplero actually lets you do

Zapier and Pipedream are documented. Pixel and tag support are not confirmed in what we've reviewed, so they're listed as checks.

  1. 1

    Zapier connection

Documented; the most likely trigger for sending purchases server-side.

  2. 2

    Pipedream connection

Documented; useful when the payload needs reshaping before it reaches an ad platform.

  3. 3

Check whether Simplero accepts GA4, Meta Pixel or GTM code

Its integrations area refers to tracking code, but which tags and which pages isn't spelled out. Confirm on your account.

  4. 4

Check whether URL parameters survive into the purchase record

If they don't, the click ID has to be stored on your side and matched by email.

  5. 5

Check what the automation payload contains

Product, pricing option and amount all need to be there for value to come out right.

Simplero · diagnose

Where Simplero tracking breaks, in diagnostic order

Coaching funnels have more steps than most booking flows, so start at the money and walk backward.

  1. 01

Total last month's Simplero revenue by product

Then set it next to platform-reported value. The ratio points at the cause.

  2. 02

Look at payment-plan sales on their own

If they report at one installment, the problem is value, not volume.

  3. 03

Check whether opt-ins are firing as purchases

A shared event name does this quietly.

  4. 04

Follow one paid-click purchase end to end

Click ID on landing, through checkout, into the server event.

  5. 05

Check whether refunds ever leave Simplero

If they don't, the ad account still counts them.

Simplero · prove

The QA evidence — Simplero

Run on a real Simplero checkout, including at least one payment-plan purchase.

Source of truth

Simplero's purchase records — by product, pricing option and date, with refunds

  • A paid-click purchase traced from landing page to server event with its click ID intact.
  • A payment-plan purchase confirmed to report the agreed value, not one installment.
  • An opt-in confirmed to fire as a lead and never as a purchase.
  • Browser and server purchase deduplicated on one event ID.
  • A refund confirmed to reverse at each platform.
  • Reconciled per purchase over a fully closed window.
  • Re-checked 30 days later, and again after the next launch.

Simplero · when not to buy

When you don't need this on Simplero

Read this before paying anyone, us included.

  • If you sell mostly through live launches to an existing email list, ads aren't the source worth measuring; your list is.
  • If you sell one low-priced product with no payment plans, a correctly placed pixel may be all you need — once you've confirmed Simplero lets you place it.
  • If sales close on calls and payment is taken outside Simplero, track the call and the system that takes the money instead.
  • If monthly ad spend is small, Simplero's own reports and a disciplined UTM convention will answer most questions.
