Conversion tracking for Plutio bookings that become paid projects
Plutio is where a freelancer or small studio keeps the whole client lifecycle: the booking page, then the proposal, contract and invoice. So the discovery call booked from an ad is rarely the money; the invoice paid weeks later is. The scheduler sits on your site as an iframe or behind a public Plutio link, which means the page your ad landed on never sees the booking finish, and Plutio's docs do not confirm a post-booking redirect you could tag.

Plutio · what breaks
Where Plutio bookings go missing
- 01
The iframe hides the finish line
Your page loads the scheduler but cannot see a slot being confirmed inside it.
- 02
A call booked is not a client won
Optimizing to bookings rewards campaigns that fill the calendar with people who never sign.
- 03
The revenue sits in a different module
Proposals and invoices live in the same Plutio workspace, yet nothing ties them back to the click.
- 04
Form-to-booking hops drop the source
Plutio can forward a form submitter to a booking page; the click data does not ride along by default.
Plutio · the fix
What changes on Plutio
Paid invoices as the conversion that matters
Booked calls stay as a leading signal, not the target.
One person followed from ad to invoice
Matched on the email address the booking captures.
Form and scheduler stitched together
Tested on your own form-to-booking route before it is trusted.
Plutio · architecture
What Plutio actually lets you do
Confirmed from Plutio's documentation where possible; the rest is written as checks.
- 1
Public booking link
Each scheduler has a shareable URL hosted by Plutio.
- 2
Iframe embed from the Embed tab
Puts the booking page inside your own page, but the booking itself still happens in Plutio's frame.
- 3
Redirect from Plutio forms
Documented for sending a form submitter on to a booking page.
- 4
Check whether a finished booking can redirect
Not confirmed in Plutio's docs. If it cannot, the confirmation has to be picked up some other way.
- 5
Check whether pixels or analytics can be added
Unverified. Assume nothing of yours fires inside the scheduler until a test proves otherwise.
Plutio · diagnose
Where Plutio tracking breaks, in diagnostic order
Start with the route each booking took, because on Plutio there are at least three and they fail in different ways.
- 01
Identify which route recent bookings came through
Iframe, public link or form hand-off. The mix decides what to fix first.
- 02
Book once through the iframe and watch the parent page
If nothing fires when the slot is confirmed, the embed is the leak.
- 03
Follow a form submission into the scheduler
See whether the source survives the redirect or is dropped at it.
- 04
Match booked calls to invoices paid
Shows which campaigns produce calls that turn into revenue and which only fill the diary.
- 05
Look for existing clients reusing the link
Repeat clients rebooking through a public link inflate whichever campaign last touched them.
Plutio · prove
The QA evidence on Plutio
Run inside your own Plutio workspace with a real booking, not a preview.
Source of truth
Plutio's invoices paid by date, linked to the bookings that came before them
- A test booking through the embedded scheduler with the click identifier confirmed on the resulting record.
- The same test repeated through the public link and through any form hand-off.
- Paid invoices reconciled client by client against each ad platform.
- A cancelled call confirmed to drop out and a rescheduled one confirmed to stay.
- Returning clients confirmed excluded from new-client conversions.
- Matched per record over a closed window, not on totals.
- Re-checked after 30 days and after any Plutio release that touches the scheduler.
Plutio · free audit
What we check in the free audit
- Identify which route recent bookings came through
- Book once through the iframe and watch the parent page
- Follow a form submission into the scheduler

Plutio · when not to buy
When you don't need this on Plutio
Read this before buying anything.
- If your clients mostly arrive by referral and you run little or no paid traffic, Plutio's own reports already tell you enough.
- If every booking is a free call and you only want call volume, a thank-you page or a single event may do, once a test shows Plutio can give you one.
- If you invoice outside Plutio, fix the link to that system before worrying about the scheduler.
- A studio with one booking page and one campaign may be a one-afternoon job, and we will tell you if it is.

FAQ
Plutio questions, answered
Not by default. The booking happens inside Plutio's frame, so your page's tags do not see it. We test whether any signal leaves the frame on your account before choosing a method.
Plutio documents redirects from its forms to a booking page. A redirect after the booking itself is not confirmed in its docs, so we check it on your workspace rather than promise it.
For most Plutio users, the invoice. A discovery call that never becomes a proposal is not worth what a signed project is, and optimizing to calls rewards the wrong campaigns.
Yes. Those bookings arrive without an ad click, and unless they are separated they get credited to whatever ad the person happened to see last.
Where Plutio exposes the proposal or invoice amount, yes. That is the value worth sending, not a flat guess applied to every booked call.
