LeadpagesFor Leadpages users running paid lead-gen

Get your Leadpages tracking to 95%+ accuracy guaranteed in writing.

Leadpages is built for capture — not for tracking. Default form submissions fire browser-only, lose iOS users, never feed CRM offline conversions back to Meta or Google. Your CPL inflates, your sales team complains the leads are junk, and the algorithm is now actively pulling in low-quality traffic because that's all it can match. We rebuild Leadpages tracking server-side so every form submit becomes a deduped Lead event with full identity match.

Leadpages · what breaks

Leadpages tracking gaps

  1. 01

    Form fires browser-only

iOS form submits vanish before Meta sees them

  2. 02

    No CRM offline import

MQL → SQL → Closed-won never reaches ad platforms

  3. 03

    Conversion-Tools popups misfire

Modal triggers can fire twice or not at all on retargeting

  4. 04

    Cross-domain breaks dedup

LP domain → CRM domain = click_id drops

Leadpages · the fix

Outcomes — Leadpages

  • Server-side Lead CAPI

Full identity match · 100% reliable

  • CRM offline pipeline

    HubSpot/Salesforce/Pipedrive → ad platforms

  • Cross-domain stitched

Click_id flows from LP → CRM

  • Lead-quality bidding ready

Optimize for SQL or Closed-won, not raw form fill

Leadpages · architecture

How a Leadpages order should reach the ad platforms

A Leadpages page exists to capture a lead. The conversion that matters is what that lead becomes, and that happens somewhere else entirely.

  1. 1

Click identifiers captured at first touch

Click IDs are captured on the landing page at landing and written to a first-party cookie, then into hidden fields on the form so they reach the CRM.

  2. 2

The browser sends the fast, fragile copy

Leadpages fires the form success event from its own scripts. Listening to that, rather than to a page redirect, is what keeps the count honest.

  3. 3

The order itself is the source of truth

The record created in your CRM or email platform is the truth. A Leadpages thank-you page is directly reachable and proves nothing.

  4. 4

A server container sends the authoritative event

The CRM webhook posts the qualified lead to a GTM server container on your own subdomain, keyed on a submission ID.

  5. 5

    Customer identity raises match quality

The submitted email and phone are hashed server-side, which is what makes Enhanced Conversions for Leads work.

Leadpages · normal or broken

Landing-page tracking faults — Leadpages

Two mistakes account for nearly all of it.

Normal, not a fault

  • Thank-you pages having their own traffic

People bookmark and share them. Which is exactly why they are a poor conversion trigger.

  • Leadpages analytics differing from GA4

    Different session models.

  • Ad platforms report more conversions than you have orders

Meta credits a 7-day click and 1-day view; Google credits on click date. Two platforms can each claim the same sale. Compare each one to your order records separately and never add them together.

  • Recent days always look worse than they finish

Conversions are credited back to the date of the click, so yesterday's return on ad spend is understated and will keep improving for several days. This is attribution working, not data arriving late.

Actually broken

  • Conversion counted on the thank-you page view

Direct visits and refreshes are all counted as leads.

  • Click IDs never reaching the CRM

Nothing downstream can be attributed to a campaign.

  • Optimizing on form fills when the CRM knows which leads are real

The better signal exists and is not being used.

Leadpages · prove

How we prove the Leadpages build is correct

The tag firing proves the tag fires. These prove the numbers are right.

Source of truth

Your CRM or email platform's records

  • The lead event confirmed firing on the form success event, not a page view.
  • Click IDs confirmed present on CRM records from paid traffic.
  • Qualified-lead status confirmed reaching at least one ad platform.
  • Purchase count within a few percent of your crm or email platform's records for a fully closed week, matched on order ID rather than on totals.
  • No order ID appearing twice in any platform's event log.
  • Deduplication confirmed at every destination that supports it.
  • Test and staff orders excluded, with the exclusion confirmed active rather than merely configured.
  • The same reconciliation repeated 30 days later, because a setup that works once and then drifts is the harder failure to catch.

Leadpages · when not to buy

When a Leadpages rebuild is not what you need

We would rather say this now than three weeks into an engagement.

  • You run a single page for a single campaign at low spend.
  • You have no CRM and no qualification step. Then the form event is the whole picture.
  • Your leads close in the same session.
