01OpenAI hasn't given my account API access yet — is this still worth it?

03How do I know my conversions are actually coming from ChatGPT and not Meta retargeting?

The dedup engine attributes each conversion to its true introducing channel based on click-time recency + identity-match keys. If a user clicked your ChatGPT ad on Monday and your Meta retargeting ad on Wednesday before converting Friday, the conversion is attributed to ChatGPT (introducing channel) with Meta credited as an assist. You see both views in the Looker dashboard — last-click and introducing-channel.

04Will this work if OpenAI changes their URL parameter format?

Yes. The handler is configuration-driven — when OpenAI changes the parameter name or format (they're still iterating), we ship the config update at no charge during your 30-day support window. Beyond that, the change takes 15 minutes and we'll quote it transparently.

05Is ChatGPT Ads even worth running right now?
